20 & 36" Onyx and Elephant Ivory Necklaces.

I found these magnificent carved ivory pieces at an auction and could not help but admire the beauty and craftsmanship that went into these hand carved pieces. This is pre-ban legal ivory that was in the U.S. before the 1970's. The color on these pieces has aged which adds to its value. Beautiful Schraeger lines.

The pieces on the 20" necklace are carved birds. The centerpiece drops from a sterling silver bail. The 36" piece has smaller carved pieces with carved melon black onyx.

This set can be worn individually, or as a set.
